During the early stages for Ghost I pitched a mission idea where the International Space Station gets hijacked my enemy forces and scuttled. This mission was greenlit for the game and eventually became the game’s opening mission which featured heavily in trailers and E3 footage.
This mission was a massive technical challenge, from the zero-gravity movement in space, to the fully animated traversal through the station, to the complete destruction of the station and the player falling to Earth’s atmosphere. I was responsible for the design and scripting of the free space portions, including the intro, the I.S.S. destruction sequence, and the free fall into the atmosphere.
